WHAT UTOPIANS DO

The open secret is that the music industry is struggling with the very basics of music accounting: What was played, when and where? Who should get paid and how much?

Utopia Music is bridging the data gap by connecting global consumption, accurate metadata, and fast payments to an industry-wide trust platform. Our goal is to unlock creative value and enable Fair Pay For Every Play to make a better world for Music. The solutions we offer do not threaten to usurp the role of industry incumbents - it is about bringing transparency in the industry and supporting efficient royalty collection for all.

THE ROLE

You will be a part of a dynamic team of fast moving full stack developers spearheaded by our Chief Architect and Innovation Manager with a focus on innovation in Utopia's Future Lab! This special team quickly assesses new technology, identifies new products and creates proof of concepts. We work with the latest technologies and take a holistic approach to building and maintaining our innovations. This enables us to move fast and quickly generate value for the music industry.

Depending on your experience and strengths, we'll work to find the right role for you in the new team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Evaluate, experiment with and validate new technologies
• Identify new products, patents and use cases
• Rapid prototyping of full stack apps and services
  

REQUIREMENT

• Proficient in Golang
• You have a broad skill set from several years of relevant positions and you’re a fast learner. The ability to work efficiently both in a team and on your own is important.
• You take responsibility for the large freedom you are given and focus on delivering value.
• Proficient in Golang
  
• Experience in SQL and Document storages
  
• Ability to quickly prototype and deliver
  
• Familiarity with Machine Learning (ML) frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Keras)
  
• Experience with multiple open source third party technologies
• Willingness to learn and work with new technologies
• Familiarity with Google Cloud
  
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Docker and Unix
  
• Great communications skills and a team player
  
• Familiarity with lean/agile methodologies
• English Fluency
